Richard Duron

Richard Duron is a Senior Associate Partner with OMBI, where he focuses on developing financial strategies for family-owned businesses. Mr. Duron works with business families from around the world either directly or through their family offices to align their business and financial strategies. One of his main objectives in assisting families is to preserve their legacies through generations.

Mr. Duron spent the last seven years at UBS. More recently, he was Vice Chairman in the division of Wealth Management International Americas where he advised family businesses on investment banking matters, financial strategic reviews, ownership issues linked to succession, and diversification of assets away from their core businesses. Prior to UBS, Mr. Duron spent 20 years at JP Morgan in various functions. He worked in mergers and acquisitions and was head of the group covering Latin America. He also worked in debt capital markets and in private banking.

Mr. Duron studied civil engineering in France and obtained a MS from Stanford University. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
