Courtney Collette
Courtney Collette is an Associate Advisor with OMBI, where she assists business families with family governance, the education of business families, and career development of family members. She is a Family Facilitator at Harvard Business School’s Families in Business: From Generation to Generation program, which examines pivotal issues facing family businesses.
Ms. Collette spent four years as Research Associate at Harvard Business School, where she focused on late-generation family business systems and professionalization of family companies. She published several case studies and multimedia courseware on family business topics such as boards of directors in family firms, family governance, long-term family business success, and ownership best practices. She also assisted with the design and operations of the MBA course Management of the Family Business and the Families in Business program.
Ms. Collette earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed coursework at the University of Cambridge in the UK.
