Educational Programs Families in Business: From Generation to Generation Program October 26-31, 2008
Families in Business: From Generation to Generation helps families in business meet their challenges, maximize their organizations’ strengths, minimize its vulnerabilities and keep the family strong in the process. This program examines the pivotal issues of, and provides state-of-the-art knowledge about, family-owned companies. Through classroom discussions with participants drawn from around the globe and in facilitated discussions with one’s own family, the program helps families in business identify their specific challenges, develop workable strategies to reach their goals, resolve conflicts and create plans for the family’s future. The program addresses topics and issues useful for families in business anywhere in the world. The faculty uses case studies to illustrate concepts and tie the lessons of the program to most participants’ own situations. In five intensive days of focused instruction and dynamic interaction, the Families in Business program helps families in business develop practices that will lead to high-performance companies, loyal shareholder groups and nurturing families.
